What's new for the 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport SV
After its introduction last year the Rogue Sport continues on into 2018 with relatively minor changes. Several of the option packages have been revised with features shuffled around a little bit. A new Premium Package replaces last year's Platinum Package, while a Technology package available on the SV replaces last year's All-Weather package.
Model Highlights
The Rogue Sport looks to add to Nissan's best-selling and IIHS safety award-winning Rogue lineup by entering a compact version of the Rogue into the market. The Rogue S is available in three trim levels S, SL and SV. Although the Rogue Sport S has a lack of drivetrain options all trims are given a capable 2.0L 4-cylinder engine and CVT transmission with manual mode that achieves up to 32 mpg on the freeway when in front-wheel drive form.
Making 141 horsepower and 147 lb-ft of torque the Rogue's single-engine configuration struggles to win any races yet it still provides an adequate driving experience and solid platform for consumers.
The Rogue Sport S is comes standard with driver friendly features like remote keyless entry, Easy-Fill Tire Alert, Bluetooth integration and LED daytime running lights. The S has an optional Appearance package updating its styling while the SV takes advantage of an available
All-Weather and Premium package paired with all-wheel drive the Rogue can tackle anything you'll likely throw at it.
The mid-level SV trim level adds larger 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, push-button start, a 6 way power adjustable seat and dual climate control. A premium package is available to tap into Nissan's nifty driver assist and safety that includes features like blind-spot detection and all-around view camera.
The top-level SL is very much loaded adding unique 19-inch wheels, heated leather seats and steering wheel, navigation, a 7-inch infotainment system, fog lights, remote start and Nissan's Around-View Monitor bird's-eye-view camera system.
A Premium package only available to the SL adds intelligent cruise control, lane-departure warning and prevention, and emergency braking with pedestrian detection.
